A Fundraising House Concert

  • Freeport, ME United States

We'd like to invite you to a very special fundraising event: An intimate house concert by The Portland Piano Trio in the historic Freeport home of Maddy & Joe Vertenten.  Come enjoy trio music of Joseph Haydn, Dmitri Shostakovich and Amy Beach, followed by wine and dessert in the moonlit courtyard.  All proceeds will benefit the trio's educational program, 240 Strings.

240 Strings builds community for Portland youth by providing subsidized music lessons, chamber music coachings and affordable concerts.  We received 501c3 status this spring, and with your help, we look forward to growing our programs.  We hope to celebrate with you and talk more about our organization in the beautiful setting of Joe & Maddy's home on July 7!

Please feel free to pass this invitation on to family and friends.  If you can't make it this time, please consider making a donation.  Small donations help us with our operational expenses, and there are plenty of deserving students who would welcome your no-longer-needed instruments.  All donations, including ticket purchases for the July 7 event, are tax-deductible.

Here's to music education for all!

Best,
Annie Antonacos, pianist
Ben Noyes, cellist
Tracey Jasas-Hardel, violinist
